I went to the ARL looking for a dog. As I entered, a man stopped me to tell me about a little poodle mix who had been hit by a car and had his leg amputated. Just then a volunteer walked thru the door with that little poodle, weighed 7 pounds, stitches and matted on the other side of his body. I asked to hold him. He licked me on the chin, put his head on my shoulder and I never let him go. He had a scab on top of his little head which is probably why he started having siezures shortly after I adopted him. He was three years old then and is now nine. Phenobarbitol keeps his siezures under control. He is happiest little fellow ever. Now weighs 13 pounds and he is the sweetheart of my block and has won everyones heart.
