Our little Schnoodle was seen wandering on the Parkway East on a cold December morning (approximately 4:00 am) by people passing by. Eventually she wandered into the Squirrel Hill Tunnel covered in snow and was seen huddled up against a wall by a Good Samaritan on here way home from work. She stopped traffic (including an eighteen wheeler), rescued her and took her home. She was unable to keep her because she lived in an apartment. She was turned over to Animal Advocates who tried to find the owners but with no success. They advertised her as a foster dog which we did for about two seconds and immediatey fell in in love with her. We are now among the thousands of “foster failures”. Emma is one of the loves of our lives (we have two other rescues) and feel totally blessed to have them.
