image14On April 17th 2015 our rescue was asked to help a dying dog. She was very ill and near death. The shelter was going to euthanize her because she was in such rough shape, she told them she wanted to live, so they contacted us (rescue rovers) I volunteered to drive her to the vet, once there it didn’t look good, I held her and loved her when we didn’t even know if she would live through the night. Well she did and proved to be a fighter. It was a long, hard recovery, I fostered her, I put so much time, effort and love into that little girl. Her name was Baby Hope. But I called her pigeon. She grew strong and healthy. She thrived with love and care. She was adopted, but I get to babysit her. She had a delicate system and requires some care still, but she found the perfect home!
