BabeI rescued a year old English Bulldog that wears diapers due to being incontinent from abuse last year. She was in a high kill shelter in Arkansas. She entered the shelter when she was a few months old. From what the shelter could tell me, a person found her on the side of the road and brought her to the shelter because they didn’t know what to do with her. The shelter then realizes she was incontinent and would have to wear diapers the rest of her life. She also has a bad hip as the shelter believes someone pulled her hip out of her socket.
When I saw her online and could not let her be euthanized. So I adopted her without even meeting her. When I went to go get her, it was like she knew I was there to get her. I walked in the room where she was and she got really happy and started crying. As I walked closer to her, she started getting really excited. I filled out all her paperwork and took her out of the crate she was in. The second I put her leash on, she ran to the door. I opened the door and she ran to my car in the parking lot. I don’t know how she my car but she did. When I brought her into my house and showed her where her dog bed and toys were, she went crazy. She jumped in her bed and started throwing her toys around. I have never seen a dog that happy in my life.
After having her for year, I have seen just how grateful is she. She is grateful for anything you give you. She is also a very happy. She doesn’t let wearing diapers slow her down! I’m very glad I adopted her!
