Plot:

Tracy and his rescue dog Charger have to foil the plans of an Evil Businessman who wants to knock over their beach restaurant in order to build his golf course. With help from his brother, Tracy tries to meet the bills, manage the kitchen (where Charger helps cook!) and still find time to fall in love with the beautiful dancer, Bridgette. Through a comedy of errors and mishaps, the humans find they themselves can be rescued by their very own rescue animals.

Backstory:

Writer/Actor Jordan Rawlins and Director Michael Anderson were roommates at the time, and one day, there were no sports on tv, so they were sitting around talking about how much they loved kids movies and they looked around their apartment in LA and saw that they had: a surfboard, a kitchen, a director with a camera (Mike), a funny looking actor (Jordan) and a really cute Rescue Dog (Callie) who they loved and they said… can we make a movie with this? After hashing out the script together, circling up a crew of friends, and then reaching out to Courtney Daniels to play “the girl”, RESCUE DOGS was underway! Courtney’s company, Busted Buggy Entertainment came on board to handle production and the rest is… well, still to come, April of 2016! (see below!)
