Four-year-old Rory can’t seem to catch a break. The black cat has been constantly overlooked as an adoptable furry pal, due to his super cool fang teeth.
The purrr-fect kitty has been dubbed “Count Dracula,” which hasn’t helped to bring in the adoption applications.
If you’re across the pond, Rory is currently with the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home in London. Be sure to fill out an adoption app soon, because having a black cat with fangs as your best friend sounds PAWESOME. And maybe he can help convince your annoying flatmate into finally moving out. Paws crossed!
Rory is a domestic short hair and prefers to buddy up to older children and live a dog-free life. He’s totally down for chilling with other feline friends and eating tuna and other wet foods.
As for Rory’s background, his previous pet-parents found him online and only wanted to play with him for two weeks before surrendering him to the shelter. Obviously, they couldn’t handle his awesomeness.
The shelter notes, “Lovely Rory can be timid at first but once he bonds with you he will show how affectionate he is and will enjoy spending quality time with you. He loves being stroked and having a play with the feather waggler toy.”
Rory’s interested in meeting a loving family that can offer some sort of safe area outside. He can’t get enough of the outdoors! Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more adoption information.
