This sweet senior is Tiger. The 19-years-young dog was surrendered to a shelter in Los Angeles on March 4 without a reason from his owners.
Leave No Paws Behind saved the day and has taken him in, and the vet over at East Valley Veterinary Clinic has given the Spaniel the medical all-clear for his age.
“He is eating and drinking and Doc said he was scarfing down his food!” the rescue’s Facebook post read.
The old sweetheart will still have blood tests and receive some medication, but all in all, he’s doing great for his equivalent of (roughly) 133 human years.
Tiger will live out his golden years in the foster care of the animal rescue group.
Leave No Paws Behind says, “[T]his little old man can rest comfortably knowing he is no longer alone and that his life matters!”
